Brazil is the largest medical device market in Latin America and one of the fastest-growing ultrasound markets globally,^1,2 representing a significant opportunity to expand access to medical imaging. The country's public healthcare landscape also presents an important opportunity to improve access in two ways: increasing diagnostic capacity across high-volume hospitals, municipal health systems, clinics, and emergency care settings, while expanding access to underserved rural communities where geographic barriers can limit timely care.
