Performance across M&A advisory, wealth advisory, growth advisory and digital capabilities reflects the strength of the firm’s people, culture, and suite of services.
Generational Group, a leading investment banking firm for privately held businesses, announced strong results through the first three quarters of 2026, with total company revenue up 13% compared with the same period in 2025. Performance was led by continued momentum in M&A advisory and supported by growth across the firm’s broader suite of wealth advisory, growth advisory and digital services.
2026 Year-to-Date Business Highlights
- Total company revenue: increased 13% year over year
- M&A advisory revenue: rose 24% year over year
- Wealth advisory: exceeded $1.5 billion in assets under management
- Private Client Group: total revenue climbed 173%
- DealForce: network grew 20%, now serving more than 42,000 registered domestic and international buyers
M&A Advisory Continues to Drive Results
Generational’s core M&A advisory business remains the foundation of the firm, with revenue up 24% year over year. Increases in signed engagements and buyer activity point to sustained momentum across all industry verticals. The firm supports business owners from preparation and valuation through closing and has ranked #1 or #2 in all LSEG league tables for deals valued between $25 million and $1 billion in 2024 and 2025.
Momentum Across a Growing Suite of Services
Beyond M&A advisory, Generational continues to expand the ways it supports business owners throughout the lifecycle of their companies. Generational Wealth Advisors extends that support to personalized wealth management and family office strategies, while Generational Growth Advisors helps owners accelerate performance, build enterprise value and prepare for future opportunities. The Private Client Group provides additional advisory resources and specialized support for business owners. Together, these capabilities provide business owners with access to a broad range of resources through Generational’s integrated advisory services.
Digital Capabilities and Buyer Engagement Continue to Expand
DealForce was relaunched in April with enhanced capabilities that streamline buyer qualification, add velocity to deal matching, and provide access to increased buyer services. The proprietary platform now connects more than 42,000 registered buyers across the U.S. and international markets, strengthening Generational Group's ability to connect qualified buyers with acquisition opportunities. DealForce was recently named a finalist for Product/Service of the Year at the 25th Annual M&A Advisor Awards.
Expanding Global Reach
Generational’s 2026 momentum extends internationally through its strategic alliance with Nihon M&A Center Holdings, announced in August. The cross-border M&A alliance expands the firms’ ability to connect business owners and buyers across markets and adds an important international dimension to Generational’s platform. The alliance adds more than 25,000 new buyers to Generational’s global buyer network.
Ryan Binkley, President and CEO of Generational Group, added, "Our results reflect more than the breadth of our platform. They reflect the quality of our people, the culture we have built and the trust clients place in us during important moments in the life of their businesses. As Generational grows, we remain committed to combining institutional capabilities with a highly relational, client-centered approach."
