Prometheus Group Acquires Webalo to Deliver a Closed-Loop Digital Execution Platform from the Frontline to the System of Record

AI-enabled workflows and intelligent automation connect frontline activity to faster execution, improved compliance, and real-time enterprise insight

Prometheus Group, a global leader in enterprise asset management (EAM) software, today announced the acquisition of Webalo, the AI-connected worker platform for the frontline workforce. The acquisition combines two highly complementary AI-powered technologies to create a closed-loop digital execution platform that connects what happens on the plant floor directly to planning, execution, compliance, and enterprise decision-making.

“We are addressing a longstanding challenge in industrial operations: the gap between frontline activity and enterprise execution,” said Eric Huang, CEO of Prometheus Group. “Webalo extends the Prometheus-AI platform with an AI-powered frontline data capture layer that integrates directly into digital workflows. Together, we help customers capture data at the point of work, turn issues into action, and gain real-time visibility into performance, compliance, and risk.”

Too many industrial inspections and operator rounds still rely on paper and spreadsheets, producing delayed, disconnected data and manual re-entry. As complexity and data volumes grow, these approaches fail—limiting visibility and allowing small issues to escalate into downtime, safety, or compliance risk. Together, Prometheus Group and Webalo change that equation.

“From day one, Webalo was built to empower frontline teams and make their work visible, actionable, and valuable to the enterprise,” said Peter Price, Co-Founder and CEO of Webalo. “By joining Prometheus Group, that vision scales dramatically. Together, we are giving customers a seamless path from frontline data capture to planning, execution, analytics, and compliance. Our customers will see faster detection of issues, quicker response, and far greater confidence in their operational data.”

Webalo serves as the frontline digital capture layer, replacing pen-and-paper processes with simple, AI-powered digital workflows that operators want to use. Prometheus Group provides the execution and intelligence layer, turning frontline data into prioritized actions, planned work, and enterprise-wide insight.

The result is a closed-loop digital workflow where frontline teams capture what is happening as it happens, data flows automatically into Prometheus Group for decisioning and prioritization and work is executed through the system of record.

Price continued, “Prometheus Group shares our customer-first mindset and our belief that digital transformation only works when it starts with the people doing the work. This combination allows us to deliver meaningful impact across operations, maintenance, and leadership.”

Financial terms of the deal are not disclosed.
