Marquis Who's Who Honors Damon Hyldreth for Excellence in Sculpture, Design and Artistic Innovation

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / January 12, 2026 / Marquis Who's Who honors Damon Hyldreth for his excellence in sculpture, design and artistic innovation. An established sculptor, Mr. Hyldreth creates large metal sculptures for public and private spaces around the world. He has spent more than 20 years building a respected reputation for designing artwork that combines creativity, structure and emotional impact.

About Damon Hyldreth

Mr. Hyldreth began his artistic career after earning a bachelor's degree in fine arts with a focus on sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2004. Before fully committing to his art, he worked as a software engineer in Los Angeles to support his family. His background in programming and design helped him adopt a structured, forward-looking approach to building complex metal sculptures. After years of refining his craft, Mr. Hyldreth launched Damonart.com and began working as a full-time sculptor. He took on both small-scale and large public art projects.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hyldreth has designed sculptures for locations in Las Vegas, Pasadena, Sarasota, San Diego, Belgium and Wuhan, China. His work includes a bronze piece created for a hotel in Abu Dhabi and two 15-foot sculptures installed for a major apartment development in San Diego. In Wuhan, a client from Germany selected a small 20-inch sculpture Mr. Hyldreth had designed and commissioned him to redesign into a 20-foot-tall sculpture. The project required additional engineering to ensure the sculpture could withstand local conditions and safety standards. His work blends artistic expression with structural precision and often involves digital scanning, CAD modeling and collaborations with structural engineers and contractors to secure foundations and calculate loads.

Mr. Hyldreth focuses on creating sculptures that connect to viewers on a deeper level. He aims to capture natural forces and emotions within the shapes and forms of his work. He does not rely on artificial intelligence in his artistic process because he believes that human creativity and emotional insight bring energy and authenticity to each piece. His process includes building small, handmade models, exploring form and movement and then transforming them into larger steel or bronze works that show both strength and fluidity.

Over the years, Mr. Hyldreth has developed a portfolio of sculptures in bronze, Corten steel and stainless steel. He often works on large projects that take months or even a year to complete. He begins each project by crafting models, after which he has them scanned and engineered to meet safety standards. Structural engineers help determine the correct material thickness, base design and foundation stability to withstand strong winds and harsh weather. Mr. Hyldreth's work demonstrates both artistic vision and technical expertise.

A Career Dedicated to Precision and Creativity

Outside of his career, Mr. Hyldreth lives in San Francisco, California. He enjoys walking, spending time with his husky, visiting the dog park and watching football and basketball. He also enjoys travel, especially when his art projects take him to new and exciting locations around the world.

Mr. Hyldreth has been recognized for his ability to design meaningful public sculptures that blend form, structure and emotional depth. He is a member of the International Sculpture Center and Pacific Rim Sculptors. His career reflects creativity and a dedication to exploring form through both artistic insight and engineering precision. Looking ahead, Mr. Hyldreth plans to continue creating large public works and maintain relationships with galleries that display his smaller pieces.
