Utilizing the company’s specialized KJG Series Hollow Paddle Dryer, the system transforms problematic wet waste into a stable, dry resource.
Unlike conventional hot air drying methods that require massive airflow and energy, the QUANPIN hollow paddle dryer operates on the principle of indirect conduction. The machine features a W-shaped shell and a pair of slow-rotating hollow shafts fitted with wedge-shaped paddles. Steam or thermal oil circulates through both the jacket and the hollow paddles, creating a double-conduction heating surface.
“This design is particularly effective for sticky, high-moisture organic materials like pig manure,” a QUANPIN engineer explained. As the paddles rotate in opposite directions, they continuously knead, compress, and push the material forward. This unique “self-cleaning” action prevents sludge buildup on the heating surfaces, ensuring consistent thermal efficiency even when processing pasty feces.
The results are significant. By eliminating the need to heat large volumes of carrier air, the system saves 30% to 60% of the energy compared to conventional convection drying. Furthermore, because it operates with a closed system, the volume of exhaust gas is drastically reduced, containing odors and volatile compounds effectively.
