Hospice of Westchester Hosts 19th Annual Golf Invitational

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY / ACCESSWIRE / June 22, 2021 / More than 100 business and community leaders participated in the Hospice of Westchester (HOW) 19th Annual Golf Invitational. The event was held at Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains on June 15th. This year's event was held in honor of Entergy and proceeds will support HOW's commitment to providing compassionate end-of-life care.

"The Golf Invitational always provides a wonderful opportunity to raise much needed funding for our important programs and services, and we were humbled to honor Entergy for their unwavering support for 19 years" said Mary K. Spengler, MS, Chief Executive Officer of HOW. "This was our most successful golf invitational to date. We are grateful for the continued generosity of our sponsors and the local business community."

The all-day event featured brunch/lunch, 18 holes of golf, a barbecue on the ninth hole, a cocktail reception, dinner and awards ceremony.

The 2021 Golf Invitational co-chairmen included Michael K. Ciaramella, Larry Dix, William F. Flooks, Jr., Jack Geoghegan, Joseph Kahl, Jim O'Connor, James P. O'Toole, Joe Pepe, Christa Puccio-Gallo, Kenneth Theobalds, Larry Weiss and John Zanzarella. Atlantic, Tomorrow's Office, Entergy, Hildegarde D. Becher Foundation Inc. and Manhattan Beer Distributors were the grand sponsors of the event. Other sponsors included Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc.; Empress Ambulance; Polchinski Memorials, Inc.; and Zanzarella Marketing. The hole-in-one contest was sponsored by Pepe Cadillac; the putting green and practice range sponsor was Grassy Sprain Pharmacy; the lunch/barbeque sponsor was TOMRA of North America, Inc.; the dinner sponsor was VNS Westchester.
