Gas prices could increase as much as 20 cents per gallon as weather shutters Texas oil refineries

Gas prices have risen for six straight weeks, with the national average increasing by 2.6 cents per gallon over the past week to $2.50 per gallon, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
