This unit is designed for temporary illumination via daisy chain connections across the work site. This unit features five molded lamp sockets and metal wire guards with 10 feet of 10/3 SOOW cable rated at 600 volts between each unit.
The WAL-SL-5-10.3-600V-MWG-NL 50-foot temporary work area string light is connected to power via an integrated 5-foot cable terminated with a standard 5-15 straight blade plug. Each globe can hold an LED, compact fluorescent, or incandescent bulb up to 100 watts. Customer provided lamps screw into a molded E26 lamp socket and is enclosed in a bird cage style metal guard. This unit features S-hooks that enable operators to hang the task lights overhead for hands-free use.
Larson Electronics’ 50-foot work area string light has an effective range that covers roughly a 5 to 8 feet radius with 10 to 15 foot candles of light when LED lamps are used. Multiple string light units can be connected end to end to extend work area illumination with no limits on how many can be strung together. Suitable applications include construction sites, commercial settings, industrial facilities, and more.
