Graphite Energy Corp. (OTC PINK: GRXXF) has announced that it will commence a drill program at its Lac Aux Bouleaux property in Canada. This was based on results from its exploration work that was recently completed. Based on the findings, the company saw that their samples show upward of 22.3% graphite carbon indications and an average of just over 10% in surface samples from the property. a total of 82 samples including seven field duplicates were collected from rock outcrops, mineralized areas and historical graphite pits.
For the month of January, shares of Graphite Energy has increased by as much as 37% as the graphite industry continues to see interest grow as a result of the boom in alternative energy sources to power things like cars and consumer electronics.
