Following nearly 12 months of strategic planning by company founder Chris Ingram and SmartCard Marketingn Inc. (PINKSHEETS:SMKG) President Bruce Ballio – the group has unveiled a proprietary Prepaid Card whereby members join the “Go Green friends of the environment” campaign.
Founder/President Chris Ingram hopes that through their Prepaid Card, the organization will enroll 1 million members and contribute $1 million per month to non-profit organizations with Go Green initiatives and environmental causes.
The real advantage is through the participation of each enrollee, since $1 of the enrollment cost goes towards eliminating green house gas emission, smog pollution, and other environmental matters. “We want to build a consortium of individuals who are passionate about the environment through our campaign and yet offer the convenience of our Prepaid Card which contributes to that cause” says Chris Ingram.
Further, the company has adopted The Nature Conservancy as its primary recipient of its campaign contributions, a non-profit organization formed in 1951 with an initiative to plant 1 million trees around the world. Chris Ingram says “the campaign goal is to bring greater awareness to the current state of our environment, from melting ice glaciers, to oil spills…to carbon emission”.
