Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) announced today that Edward (Ted) Davies has been named president of the Unisys Federal Systems business. Based in Reston, Virginia, Unisys Federal Systems is a leading provider of information technology services and solutions to agencies of the U.S. federal government. Davies replaces Greg Baroni, who is leaving Unisys to pursue other interests.
For the past five years Davies has been vice president of the civilian agencies business within Unisys Federal Systems. Over this period Davies has led the civilian business to significant growth, winning major new contracts with the U.S. Department of Justice, Health and Human Services, and the Department of Agriculture. Prior to Unisys, Davies served as executive vice president of Tele-Consultants and as a partner at Booz Allen Hamilton.
