New app, CareFlick, launches a new era of smart, personalized support for caregivers of people with special needs

By: Get News
CareFlick is on a mission to support caregivers and assist them in providing the best possible care for their loved ones. The beta version of CareFlick is now live.

CareFlick is excited to introduce its new AI-powered app for caregivers that is revolutionizing caregiving. The app aims to offer smart and personalized support for caregivers, enabling them to provide the best care for people with dementia, Parkinson’s, autism, dyslexia, Down Syndrome, Bipolar and more.

Among the challenges caregivers face is the lack of personalized support to assist in caregiving and managing their well-being. Considering this, CareFlick’s founder Abhishek Mohanty set out to develop an app that offers everything from customized suggestions for care therapies and activities to a digital assistant for caregivers, social networking opportunities, and more.

Abhishek has worked with a VC-backed healthcare startup in India focused on solving senior living needs, where he spent more than six years as part of the leadership team. While developing an app for this startup, he uncovered his desire to build a tech-driven solution that could address caregiving issues, especially for people with special needs at scale.

CareFlick leverages AI and machine learning to facilitate the creation of customized care. On the app, caregivers have access to curated content in articles, podcasts, and videos to help caregivers learn more about their loved ones, themselves, and the special care that the people under their care need. With personalized suggestions for care therapies and activities, caregivers can engage the people in their care in activities tailored to their unique condition and situation. The app allows caregivers to keep track of care details by providing a log that simplifies caregiving by providing analytics, reports, and guided journaling for a more comprehensive caregiving journey.

CareFlick also includes a care team management feature that helps caregivers coordinate with other family members, care professionals, and experts worldwide to ensure loved ones receive the best possible care at all times. With CareFlick’s AI assistant Yana, caregivers have access to round-the-clock assistance and support. The ChatGPT-powered AI caregiving assistant answers questions and provides personalized support to make caregiving easier.

One of the unique features of CareFlick is its domain-specific social networking. On the app, caregivers can connect with other caregivers in similar situations. These communities offer much-needed support for caregivers who often feel alone and isolated in their caregiving journey.

In addition to its stellar features, CareFlick features a simple and intuitive interface, making it accessible and easy to use for caregivers. The app is a game-changer for caregiving as it empowers caregivers with the tools, resources, and support they need to provide smart, personalized care and manage their well-being while at it.

The app’s beta version is now available on Play Store and App Store. Since this is the app’s first release, the app creators hope that the beta phase will help uncover any underlying issues so they can be addressed. The app has undergone rigorous testing and continues to undergo improvements to ensure caregivers have the best experience while using the app. CareFlick invites caregivers of loved ones with dementia or a child with autism to download the app and experience the new era of smart, personalized support in their caregiving journey.
