DENVER - February 3, 2022 - (Newswire.com)

Pathify, the most innovative student portal for higher ed, is proud to announce the addition of Mitch Macfarlane as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Macfarlane will oversee operations across the IT, Product, Customer Success and Operations teams, helping to coordinate and scale Pathify's operations.

Macfarlane brings extensive experience working with and leading engineering, product and customer success teams at several technology companies. Most significantly, he spent seven years in leadership roles at Instructure, the makers of the popular Canvas Learning Management System — a popular integration into the Pathify platform.

"Mitch's background is uniquely relevant to Pathify. Not only does he have a history of outstanding performance in EdTech, Mitch's operational experience will be central to scaling the company and successfully serving many more institutions," said Chase Williams, Pathify CEO. "I couldn't be more excited to have Mitch on the team!"

Pathify isn't just a technology company, it's dedicated to creating outstanding student experiences that support personalized journeys to success throughout the entire student lifecycle. Providing extensive vendor-agnostic integrations, Pathify allows higher ed institutions to surface important information and resources in a centralized, interactive platform. Available across the web and mobile devices, Pathify creates a highly personalized education experience that makes it easy for users to see and act on the information that's most important to them, reducing frustration and the chance of missing critical information, tasks, and deadlines.

As COO, Macfarlane will help guide Pathify's expanding product roadmap to ensure it aligns with institutional needs and provides unprecedented solutions and support to higher education institutions, faculty, and students.

"Pathify caught my attention as an opportunity to provide a significant technology and user experience upgrade to the portal space and focus on improving the educational experience for students, faculty, and administrators," Macfarlane said. "Beyond just the portal, the team at Pathify has created a foundation on which they can offer tremendous data insights across the student lifecycle to enhance prospecting, learning, retention, and success."
