Rome was not built in a day. It has been and will always be problems, risks and challenges on our journey of bringing blockchain technology to the everyday-life of mankind.
 
In an emerging industry still in its infancy, we experimented without much prior experience for guidance, we navigated on the open sea searching for our own path. We iterated through space and time.
 
During the past two years, Ultimate was born, developed, and progressed with many expectations. Ultimate is a new-generation blockchain application solution that provides decentralized services such as data storage, data management, and data security for the C-end, B-end and G-end. It has high-level security algorithms and a powerful computing power pool to create a world-class diversified blockchain mining economic ecology.
 
The core members of Ultimate come from internationally renowned universities, including Imperial College, Carnegie Mellon University, Cambridge University, University of London, and the University of Washington. The team has undergraduate/master/doctorate degrees in engineering sciences such as computer engineering, mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, biochemical engineering, technological innovation, information technology, and data science, with first-hand experience in blockchain development, DAG architecture, crypto science, quantitative trading, artificial intelligence, and other fields.
 
Ultimate focuses on solving the problems of the current big data market and puts forward the following four solutions by integrating blockchain technology:
1.DAG
-DAG breaks the concept of blocks. It uses transactions as a unit and has functions such as asynchronous verification and parallel processing, which can reduce transaction thresholds and payment fees.
-On the premise of ensuring decentralization, the scalability is greatly improved, and the confirmation time is shortened, which solves the scalability issue and efficiency problem of blockchain.
-It greatly increases the number of transaction processing and helps to create a platform with a large user base that can accommodate high-frequency microtransactions.
 
2.Blockchain
- Ultimate uses the blockchain to support the early growth of DAG, replacing some of the operations that have lost profits and large workloads.
-The blockchain uses BFT-based Byzantine fault tolerance to ensure security, and the nodes are elected high-quality DAG nodes.
-The double-chain structure of blockchain and DAG makes full use of the security of blockchain and the high throughput load capacity and efficiency of DAG.
 
3.PoC
- Through the original proof of PoC contribution, the "useful" resources contributed by the node user's bandwidth and disk space are fully leveraged as a proof to strive for income rights.
- Combined with the Ultimate token UT and based on the token economics from the blockchain, PoC can incentivize more space nodes to join the ecology with a low threshold and obtain corresponding benefits-nodes are miners.
 
4.Distributed Storage
- DSN ensures the data storage agreement between the user and the space node, and through the smart contract, it establishes a cooperative relationship with data orientation and payment functions.
- Proof of PDP data storage: The data integrity check during the contract and the follow-up will ensure the security and integrity of user data with low bandwidth and low computing power while ensuring data privacy.
- Zfec: With redundant segmentation of data, the original data can be restored only by reading part of the segmentation, ensuring that users will not be unable to read the data in the event of a storage node failure or default.
 
Ultimate has also unveiled the Roadmap for the project at a signing ceremony with the BlockBase Foundation:
1.The head node enters the deployment phase, and 10,000 mining machines start mining the first ore.
2.The second batch of mining machines is launched, the root nodes of the distributed network are gradually improved, and the network efficiency continues to improve.
3.Mining machines are fully stationed on the Ultimate network, the DAG network efficiency is iterated, and the PoC consensus mechanism operates efficiently.
4.Based on the perfect Ultimate network, more blockchain applications enter the main network.
