Donaldson Announces Winners of the 11th Annual Inventor Awards

Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE:DCI) a leading worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to announce the winners of the Company’s 11th Annual Inventor Awards given to employees whose work on various technology innovations have contributed to Donaldson’s continued success as a leader in filtration technology.

Frank A. Donaldson Award
The Frank A. Donaldson Award is given to individuals who have minimum of 10 years of experience at Donaldson and have demonstrated outstanding, long-term engineering achievement which has made a positive impact on Donaldson products and technologies.
Winner: Dan Risch, Corporate Technology, Sr. Engineer, based in Bloomington, MN

Richard M. Negri Manufacturing Excellence Award
The Richard M. Negri Manufacturing Excellence Award is given to Donaldson employees who have created and implemented significant process technology and/or product improvements for the Company’s manufacturing operations.
Winner: Daniele Olivieri, Quality Department, Quality Manager, based in Ostiglia, Italy

Technology Achievement Award
The Technology Achievement Award is given to an employee who has developed a material, product, process or method that has made an extraordinary contribution to Donaldson’s long-term success.
Winner: Ming Ouyang, Corporate Technology, Corporate Scientist, based in Bloomington, MN

Emerging Innovator Award
The Emerging Innovator Award recognizes innovative technical leadership from those with fewer than 10 years of experience at Donaldson.
Winners: Jake Savstrom, Corporate Technology, Sr. Mechanical Engineer, based in Bloomington, MN and Dan Little, Engine Air Filtration, Engineer, based in Bloomington, MN

Technology Champion Award
The Technology Champion Award recognizes innovative leadership relative newcomers to Donaldson.
Winner: Thomas De Paepe, Engine, Lab Supervisor, based in Leuven, Belgium

These awards are an important way for our Company to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to maintaining our filtration technology leadership position.
