NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Oct. 12, 2026 - PRLog -- Lead Empowered TV welcomes Eli Brackenbury back to the program for a personal conversation centered on his forthcoming book, The Restoration of Man: A Journey Into Identity, Healing and God-Anchored Masculinity.
Brackenbury previously appeared on Lead Empowered TV to share the story of his spiritual awakening at 50 and the journey that inspired his debut book, Finding God at 50. In this conversation with Nathan R. Mitchell, Brackenbury takes that journey further, exploring the struggles many men face with identity, unresolved wounds, purpose, faith and the expectations surrounding modern masculinity.
"The message behind The Restoration of Man is not about asking men to simply try harder or perform better," said Mitchell. "It's about becoming whole. Eli is willing to have conversations about the things men often carry quietly, and that honesty is one of the reasons his message resonates."
Early feedback suggests the book is already prompting significant reflection. One reader described having difficulty putting the book down, while another said a chapter finally gave him language for what he recognized as a "wilderness season" in his life.
Perhaps most telling was one reader's reflection after confronting questions about his past: "Have I actually moved on from my past, or have I just gotten good at working around it?"
Other early responses include, "This names things I lived," and reflections from readers who discovered that beliefs and wounds they thought were behind them continued to influence their lives.
Brackenbury describes the intended progression of the book as "naming, revealing, and restoring." Through themes including identity, authority, healing, purpose, brotherhood and legacy, The Restoration of Man challenges men to examine not only their behavior, but the beliefs and experiences underneath it.
The episode also marks an important development in Brackenbury's relationship with Mitchell. Brackenbury was recently selected as the Founding Speaker in the Faith & Purpose category at Speak Empowered, Mitchell's speaker representation agency.
"Conversations like this are exactly why we selected Eli to partner with us," Mitchell added. "There is substance behind his message, but there is also lived experience. He communicates about faith, restoration and purpose in a way that invites people into the conversation rather than preaching at them."
During the episode, Mitchell and Brackenbury discuss his spiritual awakening at 50, what restoration means, why healing must happen from the inside out, and why midlife can represent the beginning of a new calling rather than a crisis.
