Midland, Michigan - October 13, 2026 - PRESSADVANTAGE -

Bay Shores Cleaning Company is showcasing its residential and commercial cleaning services in connection with the Fall Parade of Homes presented by the Home Builders Association of the Great Lakes Bay Region. The association lists the event for October 3, 4, 7, 10, and 11, 2026, on the Home Builders Association of Michigan calendar of parade and home shows. Owner Wendy Nellet said the company is using the association’s public home events to meet homeowners, builders, and other local businesses.

The Home Builders Association of Michigan describes these events as opportunities to tour model homes, see design trends, and meet professionals involved in home projects. Local associations organize the individual shows. The Great Lakes Bay Region association serves the residential building industry in Gladwin, Midland, and Saginaw counties and also hosts annual home shows in Frankenmuth and Midland. Its 2026 home shows were held March 7 and 8 in Frankenmuth and March 14 and 15 in Midland. The October dates on the state calendar are for the fall parade, not a second home show.

“We always enjoy opportunities to connect directly with our community and other local businesses,” said Wendy Nellet, Owner of Bay Shores Cleaning Company.

Bay Shores Cleaning Company lists residential cleaning, residential deep cleaning, and commercial cleaning. Company materials describe residential work as starting with a top-to-bottom cleaning, then weekly or biweekly maintenance. The same materials state that teams are trained and background-checked, that the business is licensed and insured, and that eco-friendly products are available upon request. A satisfaction guarantee is also stated on the company site. Those points are reported as the company presents them.

“Participating in the Home Builders Association Home Show gives us a valuable opportunity to meet homeowners, builders, and fellow local businesses face-to-face. We’re proud to showcase the quality and professionalism behind our services while building relationships that help strengthen and support the Midland community.” Nellet continued.

Wendy Nellet founded Harbor Shores Cleaning Company in 2013 in Petoskey. That company still operates in northern Michigan and lists residential cleaning, deep cleaning, vacation rental turnovers, and commercial cleaning. She later founded Bay Shores Cleaning Company as a separate company serving Midland, Sanford, Freeland, Auburn, and nearby communities. The two businesses share a founder. They are not the same company.

Staff development is part of the Midland company’s published mission. Employees can take classes that include the 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace, Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, and Disk Class. Published values include communication, optimism, safety, accountability, grace, making a difference, and family. Community work includes Cleaning for a Reason, through which the company states it provides free or reduced-cost cleaning for patients and certain elderly residents.

The October appearance does not add a new service line or a price change. It places the company in front of people already looking at new and remodeled homes. Parade routes and open-house hours are set by the Home Builders Association of the Great Lakes Bay Region. This release does not assign Bay Shores Cleaning Company to a specific house, booth, or attendance total, because those details were not published with the company’s comments.

The state association page also lists other October events, including a fall parade by the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids on October 2 through 10, 2026, and the Novi Home Show fall edition by the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan on October 9 through 11, 2026. Those events are outside the company’s stated service area. The relevant listing for this release is the Great Lakes Bay Region fall parade.

Bay Shores Cleaning Company continues scheduled cleaning work while using association events for face-to-face conversations with homeowners and builders. The October dates give a defined window for that outreach. Further route maps and hours remain with the Home Builders Association of the Great Lakes Bay Region.
