Do you need geotextile manufacturers in China? You should look at CHANGFENG, Tinhy, Feicheng Lianyi, Shandong Greenland, and TMP Geosynthetics. They are good choices for railway filtration and drainage. Their websites talk about railway uses. They also mention geotextiles for drainage and filtration. Tinhy even shares a story about using their product in the Beijing Subway. Keep in mind, the suppliers made these claims themselves. We did not check their actual railway supply performance ourselves.
What if you want OEM and custom GSM? Tinhy and Liaoning Hengyu say they can do both. They state this clearly in their geotextile materials. Lianyi offers OEM/custom production. They also sell standard 100–600 g/m² grades. But, their product page does not say you can change the GSM itself. CHANGFENG says it helps with OEM/ODM and custom specs. Still, their pages do not show a custom GSM range.
The ten companies below form a sourced shortlist. This is not a ranking. Looking at their public products and skills can help you choose who to call. Buyers still must check the real factory. You also need to look closely at the product, test documents, and project fit.
Ten suppliers and the evidence available
| Manufacturer | Geotextile information and source locator | Evidence limits |
| CHANGFENG | Its Products page shows geotextiles and OEM/ODM support. The Solutions page talks about a railway solution. Both accessed November 3, 2026. | Claims about railway solutions do not prove they have railway-specific geotextile test results. They also don’t show real rail deliveries. |

| Shandong Lujian Engineering Materials | Its Company Profile mentions filament geotextile production. It lists railway applications. It also claims they work with China Railway groups. Accessed November 3, 2026. | These are just things the company says. The profile does not link a real railway project to a specific geotextile product. It also does not share GSM customization limits. |
| Jiangsu Jinbo Engineering Materials | Its homepage shows woven and nonwoven geotextiles. It says the company worked on the Beijing–Zhangjiakou High-Speed Railway project. Accessed November 3, 2026. | The page does not say if geotextile was the actual product used there. It also does not show a project acceptance record. |
| Yixing Shenzhou Earth Working Material | Its company website talks about nonwoven geotextiles. It says it makes SHENZHOU-branded or OEM geosynthetics. Accessed November 3, 2026. | The page does not give exact geotextile GSM grades. It misses GSM tolerances and railway applications too. |
OEM and custom GSM are separate questions
“Custom products” can mean many things. It might mean changes to dimensions, packaging, or branding. It could also mean technical properties. This does not mean a factory can just make any requested GSM. The table below splits up their public claims.
| Manufacturer | OEM or private label stated? | Custom GSM stated? | Standard GSM range or tolerance published? |
| CHANGFENG | Yes, it lists OEM/ODM and packaging options. | We could not confirm this on the reviewed pages. | We found no geotextile GSM range or tolerance. |
| Tinhy | Yes, it lists OEM branding for PP woven geotextile. | Yes, it lists weight customization for that product. | The guide shows normal weights. But, it gives no GSM tolerance. |
| Lianyi | Yes, it mentions standard/OEM/custom production. | It says they support custom products. But it does not talk about custom GSM specifically. | It lists 100–600 g/m² product grades. We found no GSM tolerance. |
| Greenland | Not confirmed. | Not confirmed. | PET product tables show 100–800 g/m² and mass deviations. These are published spec values. |
| TMP | Not confirmed. | Not confirmed. | We found no GSM range or tolerance on the page. |
| TDF | Not confirmed. | Not confirmed. | Product lists show 90–700 g/m² options. We did not see a tolerance. |
| Hengyu | Yes, it mentions OEM and customized specifications. | Yes, it talks about weight adjustment. | The page shows standard grades. It also shows a wide 100–1,200 g/m² mass range. It claims a ±5% unit-weight deviation. |
| Lujian | Not confirmed. | Not confirmed. | We found no GSM range or tolerance in the profile. |
| Jinbo | It mentions customized products. We could not confirm OEM branding. | Not confirmed. | We found no geotextile GSM range or tolerance. |
| Shenzhou | Yes, it states OEM geosynthetics. | We could not confirm geotextile-specific GSM customization. | We found no geotextile GSM range or tolerance. |
Looking at these pages, Tinhy and Hengyu stand out. They are the two suppliers with proof for both OEM-related service and custom geotextile weight. You should check if this applies to your exact product type. Make sure to get the allowed GSM tolerance written down in a spec sheet. Other suppliers might offer the same things. But, the materials we read do not prove it.
Railway filtration and drainage: candidate evidence levels
“Used for railways” is just something the supplier claims. It does not prove anything big. It does not show a specific geotextile passed a railway project’s design review. It also does not prove it worked well in real life.
| Supplier | Public railway-use statement | Product data or project evidence reviewed | Qualification status |
| CHANGFENG | Its Solutions page talks about a railway solution. | It gives general railway system facts. We saw no railway-specific geotextile performance sheet. We also saw no geotextile project record. | It is a good choice to ask based on the stated application. But, you must check product fit and supply records first. |
| Greenland | Its PET geotextile PDF mentions railway roadbeds and filtration/drainage work. | Product tables show GSM, tensile, aperture, and permeability facts. The PDF’s projects only show highway pavement care and dam protection. | It has stronger product-data proof for screening. Still, there is no railway project record in the PDF. |
| TMP | Its site talks about railways. It shows a drainage/filter solution using filament geotextiles. | It just gives descriptions of applications and solutions. We saw no matching railway geotextile data sheet, test report, or project record. | You can ask them. Make sure to request product-level railway design data and quality papers. |
| Lianyi | Its railway article talks about geotextiles for separation and drainage in rail building. | Its nonwoven product page shows hydraulic facts and standard grades. But it does not have a railway-specific qualification. | You can ask them and look at their product data. You still need to check project-specific conformity and delivery proof. |
| Tinhy | Its catalogue talks about railway engineering. It shows a geotextile use in the Beijing Subway. | The catalogue lists product weights and ASTM/GB/T facts. The subway example is just a supplier-published case. | This is the most specific public railway example here. You should ask for project references. Also, ask for up-to-date, product-specific reports. |
Do you need a railway filtration or drainage spec? You should compare the items carefully. Look at mass per unit area, tensile strength, and elongation. Also check CBR puncture, apparent opening size, and permeability. GSM alone is not enough. It cannot prove if a fabric will hold the project soil and let water pass. Ask the supplier for test reports. The reports must show the exact product, test method, result, and production batch. Your main engineer needs to check the acceptance values. They should look at the soil, loading, drainage layer, and installation setup.
Practical recommendation
Do you need both OEM and custom GSM? Start by talking to Tinhy or Hengyu. Ask each of them for a product-specific tolerance and a test sample. You can also talk to CHANGFENG if you need OEM/ODM or more geosynthetic options. Make sure to ask them for their available geotextile weights and tolerances. What about railway filtration and drainage? Greenland and Lianyi share good product data to look at. Tinhy shares a real story about using it in a subway. TMP and CHANGFENG post details about railway solutions. But, the sources we read do not prove their railway-specific geotextile supply performance.
Be careful before you place an order. You need to match the quote, approved sample, data sheet, test records, and stated railway application. Make sure they all point to the same product specification. This shortlist does not tell you the ultimate “best” manufacturer. Instead, it shows you what the suppliers claim. It also tells you what documents you can get to check them further.
