Qarbon Aerospace, Inc. ("Qarbon" or the "Company"), a leading Tier-1 provider of advanced composite and metallic structures and assemblies, today announced a new 55,000 square foot classified manufacturing space within its Red Oak, Texas facility. Qarbon, which has spent over a century manufacturing aerostructures for the industry's most complex aerospace programs, is expanding its capabilities to meet growing demand in the classified defense space. Design work is complete, and all required permits have been approved, with construction anticipated to reach completion in early 2027.

The Red Oak facility serves as Qarbon's headquarters and spans over 772,000 square feet of advanced aerostructures manufacturing space. The addition of ICD 705 classified manufacturing capability builds on the facility's existing strengths and reflects the growing need among defense prime contractors for aerostructures suppliers equipped to support classified programs.

The new space will include dedicated composites manufacturing, assembly, and administrative areas designed and built to meet U.S. government requirements for handling classified defense programs including a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) for handling Sensitive Compartmented Information.

"Expanding our classified program capability has been a strategic priority, and this investment puts that commitment into action. We are positioning Qarbon to support the most critical defense programs in the industry and to deliver for our customers at every level," said Michael Canario, Chief Executive Officer of Qarbon Aerospace.

With this expansion, Qarbon adds a capability that few Tier 1 composite manufacturers can offer, deepening its ability to serve defense prime contractors across some of the most demanding programs in the industry.

"This expansion has been months in the making and represents a meaningful step forward for our Qarbon team. We have the people, the processes, and now the infrastructure to take on classified work at a level that very few composite manufacturers can match," said Russell Thurman, Chief Operations Officer of Qarbon Aerospace.
