BOTHELL, Wash. - Sept. 30, 2026 - PRLog -- Intelligence Daily today announced the publication of "Hollywood's Next Power Shift May Start at a Kitchen Table", a compelling new feature examining how artificial intelligence could redefine who gets to create, produce and profit from filmed entertainment.
Written by Evan Mercer, the feature draws on the perspective of Kirk Shaw, CEO of Ambitious Entertainment and a veteran producer with more than three decades of experience and over 250 feature films to his credit.
At the heart of the article is a powerful possibility: Hollywood's next breakout creator may not emerge from a studio lot. They may begin at home, equipped with an original story, a small team and sophisticated AI-enabled production tools that were once available only to well-funded companies.
"I believe the last decade belonged to the influencer. The next decade will belong to the creator," Shaw says in the feature.
Intelligence Daily explores how emerging technology could help independent filmmakers bridge the difficult gap between a promising idea and a finished production. AI-assisted writing, visualization, editing, sound and visual effects may allow creators to experiment more freely, demonstrate the potential of their concepts and reach audiences without first securing the resources of a conventional studio production.
The feature also examines the rapid emergence of micro-dramas—short, vertically framed scripted episodes designed for mobile audiences. Built around concentrated storytelling, memorable characters and irresistible cliffhangers, the format could provide independent creators with an accessible proving ground for developing valuable intellectual property.
More than a story about technology, the new Intelligence Daily feature is an exploration of creative ownership and economic opportunity. It considers a future in which filmmakers do not simply generate content or accumulate followers, but build enduring fictional worlds, loyal audiences and sustainable businesses around their ideas.
Shaw's vision is ambitious: democratize access to professional-grade creative capabilities and give talented storytellers a meaningful opportunity to compete.
The article also recognizes that technology alone cannot manufacture success. Lower production barriers will create more competition, making creative judgment more important than ever. Emotion, pacing, character and originality will remain the forces that persuade audiences to keep watching.
That tension makes this one of the defining entertainment stories of the coming decade. As powerful tools become more widely available, the industry's center of gravity could begin shifting away from traditional gatekeepers and toward creators capable of combining technology with unmistakably human storytelling.
With this timely feature, Intelligence Daily continues its mission of identifying consequential ideas, influential voices and emerging shifts before they become conventional wisdom.
