The Sunday poker tournament produced a $106,800 prize pool, topping its $100,000 guarantee. ANDREWNEIDING1 was part of a closing deal and received $14,384.42.
-- A free Telegram ticket led to a $14,384.42 online poker score for Americas Cardroom player ANDREWNEIDING1 after he won through a 100-seat guaranteed satellite and reached the closing stages of the $33 OSSXL #339H Sunday Smash - $100,000 GTD on September 27.
His path began with a free satellite ticket from the Telegram channel. He converted it into a $33 Sunday Smash seat, then turned the no-cost opportunity into a five-figure result.
The Telegram channel launched less than a year ago and had 9,400 members at press time. It carries tournament news, promotions, events, giveaways and rewards. Past channel-related giveaways and rewards have included cash, tournament tickets, satellite entries and SPINZ tickets, with tens of thousands of dollars in value distributed through the community. For players following a busy poker schedule, the channel also offers a quick way to spot new tournaments, satellites and limited-time promotions. Players can check the channel when convenient or enable notifications for immediate updates. ANDREWNEIDING1's result shows how catching one free-ticket opportunity can lead to a much bigger tournament run when the player takes it from there at the tables. The original ticket cost him nothing; the rest came at the tables.
Players can follow the official Telegram channel for current tournament news, promotions, giveaways and player rewards.
