SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / October 1, 2026 / Americas Cardroom will begin the first Sunday of October with two Venom PKO tournaments carrying combined guarantees of $6.5 million. Opening flights for the No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha events are scheduled for October 4 at 1:05 p.m. ET, with the Ladies Online Championship following at 2:05 p.m. ET.

The No-Limit Hold'em PKO features a $5 million guarantee, while the Pot-Limit Omaha PKO guarantees $1.5 million. Both have a $2,650 buy-in. The PLO tournament matches the largest PLO PKO guarantee in Americas Cardroom history.

The progressive knockout format gives players an opportunity to collect bounties when they eliminate opponents while also competing for tournament prize money. Individual bounties in the NLH event can reach tens of thousands of dollars.

Each Venom tournament offers five opening flights. Following the October 4 launch, additional Day 1 flights take place October 8, 11, 15 and 18. Every flight begins at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Day 2 is scheduled for Monday, October 19. The two tournaments then lead toward final tables on Wednesday, October 21.

Players seeking a satellite route can enter through Venom Fever, which is already underway and continues through October 18. Its qualification options comprise Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites and Survivor Flips Step Satellites. Paths through Mega Satellites start at $0, with Survivor Flips Step Satellites available from $0.80.

This Sunday's lineup also includes the Ladies Online Championship at 2:05 p.m. ET. This ladies-only tournament carries a $215 buy-in and a $25,000 guarantee. In addition to tournament prize money, the winner will receive a championship trophy.

Two Ladies Championship satellites run earlier that Sunday. The $22 Turbo starts at 11:05 a.m. ET, and the $21 Hyper follows at 12:30 p.m. ET. Each guarantees five seats.
