Unisys to Reenter Competition for Transportation Security Administration Contract

Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) today announced that it has been invited by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to reenter the competition for its Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP) contract. In inviting Unisys back into the competition, TSA reversed a decision made in June narrowing the field of competitors.

Unisys was instrumental in creating and managing the IT infrastructure that enabled TSA to be mission-ready by November 2002. Since then, Unisys has supported the agency in its efforts to improve the protection of passengers and cargo at U.S. airports.
