"A Dog For a Day " campaign

Atlanta, Georgia Oct 11, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - International Nova, an Atlanta-based musician, actor, and Brand Ambassador for LifeLine Animal Project, participated in LifeLine Animal Project's "Dog for a Day" program to help promote awareness and adoptions for dogs in the organization's three shelters.  LifeLine is a nationally lauded non-profit animal welfare organization in the state of Georgia.

The organization's mission is to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals in county shelters. LifeLine manages the municipal animal shelters in Fulton and DeKalb counties as well as providing animal enforcement services for Fulton County.

"Animals are near and dear to my soul", said International Nova. "I'm proud to help bring awareness to the work that LifeLine is doing."

International Nova, who calls himself an animal lover, grew up in the Bronx borough of New York, but moved to Atlanta several years ago to pursue his music and acting career.  He made an appearance in the infamous "Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta" reality show.  Nova also had a role in "All Eyez on Me," the biopic portraying the life of a beloved musician, Tupac Shakur.

On the music side, the bilingual star recorded a variety of original hits in English and Spanish, releasing "Controla," a single featuring hip-hop legend Petey Pablo. He's been recognized by Rolling Stone as a Global Artist to Watch and appeared on Billboard's Urban and Latin charts. "Controla", which is currently streaming online, has found a strong global audience.

International Nova was proud to accept the invitation to spread the word about the LifeLine Animal Project. He has always made an effort to find ways to give back and help others who are less fortunate - a commitment that also extends to our treasured pets as well.

LifeLine has turned around the county shelters they manage and are now sustaining no-kill rates at both.  They have also provided over 150,000 free or low-cost spay/neuter surgeries at their two spay/neuter clinics and make veterinary care accessible to all at the low-cost, full-service Community Animal Center veterinary clinic.

In 2020, LifeLine was able to find adoptive homes for more than 8,800 pets and reunite 1,809 lost pets with their owners.
