Schneider Electric to share how contractors can grow their residential business in the New Electric World

• Schneider addresses how partners can deliver on their sustainability commitments through energy efficiency at NECA Convention 2021

Nashville, TN - October 8th, 2021 - Buildings account for almost a third of the world’s CO2 emissions by source, a number that rises to almost 40% when factoring in construction. In the developing world, residential homes are shortly set to become the largest single source of greenhouse gas emissions, according to a report published in PNAS. More people are working, learning and aging from home while power outages due to weather and an aging grid are becoming more frequent. These factors, and more, are driving an unprecedented demand for electricity with consumption set to double by 2050.

Schneider Electric addresses the effect of these demands and how residential challenges can lead to opportunities. Electrical contractors can adapt and capitalize on the rise of new electric homes and ultimately grow their business by expanding offers to include digital and connected home solutions. Together, we are partnering with our customers for a new electric world of innovation and digitization, to create a sustainable and greener energy landscape for us to meet the evolving challenges of the world.
