Lost ark reborn through Hebrew Union College student's labor of love

It's the only wooden ark to be rebuilt out of “hundreds, if not thousands” destroyed in World War II. It is painted in brilliant, historically accurate colors. Polin used Siberian larch wood endemic to the region.
