UNC Charlotte, Appalachian State to compete in first baseball game at Kannapolis ballpark

On Wednesday, the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers announced that the first baseball game at the $52 million Atrium Health Ballpark would not include the minor-league team. The Charlotte 49ers and Appalachian State Mountaineers will play a game there on March 23.
