UPDATE 1-Canada's WestJet beats profit estimates on higher passenger traffic

WestJet Airlines Ltd reported a quarterly profit that beat analysts' estimates on Tuesday, as the Canadian carrier flew more passengers to the United States and other overseas destinations.
