American Airlines takes jets out of service, cancels flights due to overhead bin problem

American Airlines on Thursday said it canceled about 40 flights after it took 14 Boeing 737-800 jets out of service due to an issue with its overhead bins. The planes were recently modeled to include more seats, feature bigger overhead bins.
