Mike McCarthy Joins Avaya as Vice President, Investor Relations

Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE:AVYA) today announced that Mike McCarthy has joined the company as Vice President, Investor Relations. In this role, he will lead all activities associated with the company’s global investor community, including broadening awareness of Avaya among institutional and other investors, leading dialogue and educating current and prospective investors about the company’s business strategy, performance and outlook. He will report to Pat O’Malley, Avaya Senior Vice President and CFO.

McCarthy comes to Avaya with extensive industry experience, most recently as Vice President of Investor Relations at Mitel, where he implemented a successful program that concluded with their most recent capital transaction. Over his thirty-year career he has established a broad network across the global equity and debt markets, and he is experienced in both event driven and long-range investor relations strategies.
