RPT-Energy Transfer still game for Southern Union despite Williams bid

June 24 (Reuters) - Pipeline operator Energy Transfer Equity L.P. has called its $4.1 billion offer for rival Southern Union Co superior to Williams Companies Inc's later, and unsolicited, $4.9 billion cash bid.
