On November 13, 2015, Bankwell Financial Group, Inc. and its subsidiary Bankwell Bank (collectively, "Bankwell") and Gail E. D. Brathwaite ("Brathwaite") announced that Brathwaite has tendered her resignation from  her positions at Bankwell (currently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer) effective December 11, 2015 ("Effective Date"). At Bankwell's request, Brathwaite has agreed on a consulting arrangement through June 30, 2016.
 
Bankwell issued a press release in connection with the resignation, which is attached to this filing.
