Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
EOG Resources, Inc. (EOG) is reiterating its third quarter 2008 total company estimated production range of 1,944 million cubic feet equivalent per day (MMcfed) to 2,103 MMcfed, previously issued on Form 8-K on July 29, 2008. This is the result of better than expected production from the Rocky Mountain operating area during the third quarter of 2008, offsetting current production curtailments of approximately 50 MMcfed that resulted from the impact of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike in the Gulf of Mexico and onshore coastal Texas operating areas.
For the full year 2008, EOG is raising its previously announced 2008 total company production growth target from 15.0% to a range of 15.0% to 15.5%.
The forecast items for the third quarter and full year 2008 set forth above are based on current available information and expectations as of the date of this document.
