Navistar  International  Corporation  (the  "Registrant")  will hold its third quarter 2002  earnings  release  conference  call on
Friday,  August 16, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern  Standard Time. The Registrant's  earnings release will be distributed on PRNewswire
