On February 14, 2019, Webster Financial Corporation issued a press release announcing that its board of directors has scheduled the corporation's annual meeting of shareholders at 4:00 p.m EDT, April 25, 2019 at the New Britain Museum of American Art, 56 Lexington Street, New Britain, Connecticut.
The record date for shareholders to vote at the meeting is February 28, 2019.
That press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
