Item 8.01

Other Events

The Registrant announced today that AMTEC Corporation, its wholly owned subsidiary, received several supplemental awards from the Department of the Army.

The Registrant also announced that its Absorbent Products subsidiary, Presto Absorbent Products, Inc., recently entered into a two year private label manufacturing agreement with its major customer. The agreement provides a framework for the ongoing relationship between the parties.

A news release dated September 30, 2009 describing the awards and the private label manufacturing contract is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
