Piraeus, Greece, September 22, 2006 FreeSeas Inc. (NASDAQ: FREE), a provider of seaborne transportation for dry bulk cargoes, announced today that George D. Gourdomichalis, the companys Chairman & President, will be presenting at the Jefferies Third Annual Shipping Conference, which will take place in New York City on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 9:45AM EDT.
