“América Móvil acquires media and advertisement unit of CIE”

Mexico City, Mexico, April 30, 2013 -- América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (“AMX”) (BMV: AMX; NYSE: AMX; NASDAQ: AMOV; LATIBEX: XAMXL), announced today that as a result of the agreement entered into with Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento, S.A.B. de C.V. (“CIE”), during the first quarter of 2013, has acquired as of the date hereof 100% of the shares representing the capital stock of Corporación de Medios Integrales, S.A. de C.V. (“CMI”).

CMI holds the media and advertisement business within the commercial segment at CIE.
