Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 28, 2005, DURECT Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“DURECT”), issued a press release announcing the completion of enrollment for a recently approved clinical study for the DURIN(TM)-based leuprolide acetate product candidate for Alzheimer’s disease under development in collaboration with Voyager Pharmaceutical Corporation. A copy of DURECT’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
