On July 20, 2006, Worthington Industries, Inc. (the "Registrant") issued a news
release announcing that Dietrich Metal Framing, a Worthington Industries
company, had formed a 50:50 joint venture with NOVA Chemicals Corporation that
will develop and manufacture durable, energy-saving composite construction
products and systems. A copy of the news release is furnished with this Current
Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
