Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.

On August 29, 2008, West Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of West Bancorporation, Inc., and Fiserv Solutions, Inc. entered into an amendment to their Data Processing Services Agreement. The amendment extends the initial term of the agreement through July 31, 2013, and may result in approximately $1.7 million of gross cost savings for West Bank over the five-year period based on current transaction and account volumes. The effective date of the amendment is August 1, 2008.
