Retirement of Director. |
On December 17, 2014, SunOpta Inc. (the “Company”) received notice from Vic Hepburn regarding Mr. Hepburn’s retirement from the Company’s Board of Directors effective December 31, 2014. M. Shan Atkins, appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company in October 2014, will serve as the Company's Audit Committee Chair following Mr. Hepburn’s retirement. Effective January 1, 2015, the Company’s Board of Directors will be comprised of ten directors, including eight independent directors.
