Colombian American Community Leader and Founder of Latinos GOP Joins RNHA Florida Leadership

MIAMI - June 11, 2026 - PRLog -- The Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Florida (RNHAFL) today announced the appointment of Marta Mesa as Vice Chair of the organization's Florida board. A Colombian American real estate professional and grassroots conservative leader based in Broward County, Mesa brings a remarkable combination of international policy experience, community organizing, and civic commitment to the RNHA's Florida leadership.

"Marta came to this country, built a life rooted in faith and family, and invested that same energy into her community — organizing voters, supporting candidates, and bringing more Hispanic Americans into the conservative movement," said Barbara Casanova, National Secretary of the RNHA. "Her story is exactly what this party stands for."

Before immigrating to the United States in 1999, Mesa advised Colombia's Secretary of Economic Development and Secretary of Mines and Energy, interned at the OAS Public Affairs Office in Washington, D.C., and participated in the 2018 International Observation Mission for the Venezuelan elections. She holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from Universidad de los Andes and completed certificate programs at Georgetown University in international relations and global economic policy.

In Florida, Mesa founded Latinos GOP and co-founded Republican Amigos, and has supported leaders including Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Rick Scott, Governor Ron DeSantis, and President Donald J. Trump. She currently volunteers with the Byron Donalds for Governor coalition and serves as a 2026 Delegate and Advisory Board member for Broward County with the RNHA. She also brings over 25 years of professional experience with The Keyes Company, where she has guided families in building generational wealth through real estate.

"As a Colombian American and a mother, I know what is at stake for our community," said Mesa. "Hispanic Americans are natural conservatives, and I am committed to making sure our voices shape the future of this party."
