(TSX: GMIN) (OTCQX: GMINF) announced that shareholders approved all resolutions presented at its annual general and special meeting, including the reappointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditor, the election of 10 directors, approval of all unallocated awards under the company’s omnibus equity incentive plan and a non-binding advisory vote supporting executive compensation. Following the meeting, the board appointed Jason Neal as chairman, succeeding Louis Gignac Sr., who retired after serving as chairman since the company’s founding.
Neal, who has served as G Mining Ventures’ lead director since 2020, brings approximately 30 years of mining industry experience and currently serves as managing director and CEO of Deterra Royalties Limited.
