Matthew Solorio, national general adjuster at Crawford & Company, has been named to Insurance Business America’s Rising Stars list, recognizing the most outstanding insurance professionals under 40 across the country.

Matthew Solorio began his career as a claims associate while studying at Arizona State University and has steadily progressed through increasingly complex property claims roles. His experience spans large-loss, catastrophe, and technical claims handling across leading organizations, including State Farm, The Hartford, and Travelers.

Now serving within Crawford & Company’s Global Technical Services division, Solorio handles complex commercial and residential property losses across the United States, including multimillion-dollar claims. His work involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams of engineers, accountants, consultants, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient claim resolution.

In addition to his claims expertise, Solorio has contributed to innovation initiatives aimed at improving claims workflows and operational efficiency, including co-leading efforts to develop scalable solutions for claim assignment and process optimization.
