KBW Announces Changes to KBW Insurance Index (KIX), KBW Capital Markets Index (KSX), and KBW Regional Banking Index (KRX)

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., a full service investment bank that specializes in the financial services sector, and a wholly owned subsidiary of KBW, Inc. (NYSE: KBW), today announced a quarterly rebalancing and upcoming changes to the KBW Capital Markets Index (Index Symbol: KSXSM, ETF Symbol: KCESM), KBW Insurance Index (Index Symbol: KIXSM, ETF Symbol: KIESM), and KBW Regional Banking Index (Index Symbol: KRXSM, ETF Symbol: KRESM).

The following changes will be made to the KBW Indices, effective prior to the opening of business on Monday, March 23, 2009:

KIX

Deletion:

KSX

Deletion:

Colonial BancGroup Inc. (NYSE: CNB)
The South Financial Group Inc. (NASDAQ: TSFG)
Frontier Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: FTBK)
Sterling Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: STSA)

Addition:

Community Bank System Inc. (NYSE: CBU)
MB Financial Inc. (NASDAQ: MBFI)
Pinnacle Financial Partners Inc. (NASDAQ: PNFP)
S&T Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: STBA)
