Harvey Pitt says AIG bonuses impossible to justify

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - More than $160 million in bonuses that American International Group paid to employees of its failed derivatives unit, AIG Financial Products, seem "impossible" to justify, according to Harvey Pitt, former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
