Citigroup's Pandit earned $10.8 million in 2008

Citigroup Inc, the troubled bank which is 36% owned by the U.S. government, and which has received billions of dollars of U.S. taxpayer funds, says it paid its Chief Executive Officer Vikram Pandit $10.8 million in total 2008 compensation.
