AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AG), a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced today that it has appointed Hans-Bernd Veltmaat as Senior Vice President - Manufacturing & Quality.

Veltmaat has 30 years of industrial and manufacturing experience, most recently with Alba AG, one of Germany’s leading waste treatment and recycling companies where he served as Group Executive Vice President of Recycling. Prior to working at Alba AG, Veltmaat gained experience in agricultural equipment manufacturing during his eleven year employment with Claas KGaA in Germany. As Group Executive Vice President of Claas KGaA and member of the Claas Group Executive Board, Hans-Bernd was responsible for seven international agricultural machinery production companies and managed the start-up of new factories in Russia and India and the implementation of new production and logistic processes.
