Stamps.com Announces PhotoStamps Market Test Extension

Stamps.com® (Nasdaq:STMP), the intelligent alternative to a postage meter, today announced an extension of the fourth phase of the market test for PhotoStamps®, with an additional authorization for one year through May 16, 2009. PhotoStamps is a patented Stamps.com product that couples the technology of PC Postage with the simplicity of a web-based image up-load and order process. Customers may create full custom PhotoStamps with their own digital photograph, or they may choose a licensed image from one of many PhotoStamps collections such as NFL®, Collegiate, and now the limited edition American Idol® collection.

Consumers embraced PhotoStamps from the very first day of the initial market test and we have now sold more than 58 million in the first three years, said Stamps.com president and CEO Ken McBride. PhotoStamps offer parents, grandparents, pet lovers, travelers, and hobbyists a great way to share their favorite digital photos. PhotoStamps also offer businesses an impactful way to create awareness for their products or services and to build their brands by including their logos and images on business mailings or on employee or customer gifts. Finally, PhotoStamps have also become a popular way for charities such as Idol Gives Back to raise awareness for their causes.

PhotoStamps can be used as regular postage to send letters, postcards or packages and are currently available for the most common mail rates in denominations ranging from $0.27 for postcards to $4.80 for 1 lb. packages. Each sheet includes 20 individual PhotoStamps. To order, consumers simply upload a digital photograph or image file at www.photostamps.com, customize the look and feel by choosing a border color or a custom boarder to complement the image, select the value of postage, then place the order. The interface is fun, functional and incredibly easy-to-use.

In addition to the sheet format, PhotoStamps are also available in a roll form factor for use in higher volume applications. Individual rolls are available in custom lengths ranging from 250 to 10,000 PhotoStamps, and in all denominations. To order in high volumes, customers should contact Stamps.coms high volume specialists.
